Maryse's surrealist landscapes and decayed sugar sculptures question our societal obsession with beauty through reclaiming and re-representing objects associated with traditional femininity.
Her works are personal, and she includes her own body in her bodyscapes as an ongoing dialogue with her own sense of personal identity.
